The testing of the platform that integrates all sustainable transport in Emilia-Romagna has started: through an app it will be possible to book and purchase different means of transport - from trains, to buses, to car and bike sharing services, including taxis and parking lots - and move from one region to another. For those who join the trial, there is a welcome bonus of 20 euros and a 50% monthly cashback on titles purchased up to a maximum of €20 per month.
The “Mobility as a Service for Italy” project is aimed at complete digitalisation and intermodality of local public transport on a national scale and Emilia-Romagna is one of the Regions chosen by the Presidency of the Council of Ministers and the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport for the first trial of MaaS4RER.
